It looks like I won't be going to see Ania this weekend after all. No one at work can be persuaded to take my shifts and to book time off I need to talk to my boss a month ahead of time.
I just want to do what I can't. Is that too much to ask (of everyone else)?

I was almost disappointed there was no holiday drama at my mom's house.
I got there two hours late, reheated some turkey and mashed potatoes, drank a few beers and watched Jack and Bobby. It was a good episode.
